Contains correspondence, letters, legal documents, financial documents, and biographical material relating to Mary Jones' activities in Texas after the death of her husband, Anson Jones. Correspondents include her sons Samuel, Charles, and Cromwell, and her daughter Sallie. Also included is a family estate ledger and publications of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas (1901-1921).

The papers of the McFatridge Family which include documents relating to a family business producing Carl's Tasty Sausage and a family history. The history was first compiled by Charley M. McFatridge in 1939. This is the 1970 update by Bill and Wilma McFatridge.

The Belle Rogers Collection consists of a 142 page manuscript of the memoirs of longtime Gainesville resident Belle Rogers.  Spanning the years 1850-1937, the memoirs describe early pioneer life in Fannin, Hunt, and Cooke counties.  Topics include frontier domestic life, frontier schooling, local plants and landscapes, and early Gainesville families and businesses.

The Alexander M. Troup Collection is a collection of items compiled by Mr. Troup which documents the history of Dallas, Texas. His process begins by identifying an area to document. Using archaeological methods, Mr. Troup excavates items for inclusion in the north Texas’ historical record.
