Historical Collection - Collected Materials

University of North Texas Athletics
The University of North Texas Athletics collection contains newsletters and catalogs from the Department of Athletics at the University of North Texas from the years 1932 – 2015. These newsletters and catalogs feature the player roster for the teams and games, as well as certain stories and biographical information. Many of the earlier catalogs and newsletters, between the 30’s – 50’s, were produced for specific games and feature detailed cover art designed for a specific game.

A collection of postcards that show early postcards of the University of North Texas, the North Texas region, and sites from other states. There is also a small sampling of university postcards that were used to advertise the school to potential students. The postcards in Series 1 were originally part of the Historical Collection.

Transportation Services Records
Files from the Transportation Services office which cover parking issues, parking passes, and the construction of the Union Circle and Highland Street Parking Garages. The documents consist of correspondence, legal documents, proposals for construction, reports on repairs, monthly construction reports, UNT policies, the City of Denton’s regulations, and Apogee Stadium parking.
