Luigi Ricci Collection of Italian Opera Libretti
The collection consists of 2 boxes of opera libretti from the collection of Luigi Ricci (1893-1981). Ricci acquired these items from the collections of Francesco Maria Albini (1829-1917) and Alberto Cametti (1871-1935). Most descriptions are taken from a catalog compiled by Robert C. Simon and Leslee V. Wood, and provided by J & J Lubrano.

Whit Ozier Test Record Pressings
The collection consists of three boxes of 78 rpm test record pressings, primarily from Columbia Records. The Columbia items often have the name of employee John Ball on the label, as well as that of Paul Affelder; such labeling appears to correspond to tentative assignments for writing liner notes. Many discs are housed in the commercially produced containers made for the finished product, though many of the discs themselves are apparently unreleased alternate takes.
Lou Robin Instantaneous Records
The collection consists of one box of 10-inch instantaneous records, primarily of recordings of radio broadcasts of major jazz artists including Duke Ellington, Les Brown, Gene Krupa, Nat King Cole, Tommy Dorsey, and Woody Herman.

Dennis Webb Collection
The collection consists of one box of handwritten arrangements by Charles Bickley and Young V. Harper, along with various published arrangements. The materials provide insights into the repertory played by lesser-known, local bands during and after the Second World War. Bickley was a Houston-area musician, and Harper made his career in Tennessee. Bickley and Harper met during their service in the European theater of the Second World War.
Woody Herman Society Collection
The collection consists of the official records of the Woody Herman Society, along with an extensive set of photo albums, scrapbooks, and memorabilia (including Woody Herman's music stand) collected by Al and Anna Julian.
Duke Ellington Collection
The collection consists of one box of music manuscripts and dye-line copies of music by Duke Ellington, Johnny Hodges, Cat Anderson, Lou Carter, and Paul Gonsalves, including a 1-page autograph music manuscript in Ellington's hand of "Get It Over."

The collection consists of 514 16-inch radio transcription discs published by Standard Radio Transcription Services. Individual program discs contain a diverse array of content from jazz artists (Art Tatum, Duke Ellington, Tommy Dorsey, Jimmy Dorsey) to popular acts (Lawrence Welk, Frank Yankovic, Ozzie Nelson, Bob Crosby) to utility audio for radios, such as interludes or short musical segments to introduce weather forecasts or advertisements.
