Scope and Contents
Map cases that contain various oversized materials too large for regular boxes, either from separate collections or as individual oversized items. Items are largely maps, posters, photos, calendars, blueprints, newspapers, and university prints. Material is centered around UNT (in its various names throughout its existence) and Texas, although there are several items representing an international focus, as well as the greater United States.

Items are arranged by map case and drawer. There are 19 map cases, each with 5 drawers. Connected items are kept together where possible.

This collection is stored at the Willis Library and is available for same day paging.
Processing Information
Some items in the map cases have been separated from other collections due to storage size restrictions with the remainder of the materials. Please refer to their individual collection finding aids for more information.
