Scope and Contents
This collection contains the archive of Bob Kap, who served as the coach of the Dallas Tornado Soccer Club throughout the 1967-1968 season. Records of the group’s travels, activities, photographs, clippings publications, artifacts, and games they played during their world tour are contained within this collection. Also documented in the collection is the introduction of European style kicking by Bob Kap to the National Football League. Records of his meetings with football teams during the 1970s are here in the form of papers, photographs, and publications.

Biographical or Historical Information
Bob Kapp, or Bojidar Kapoustin, a Serbian soccer coach who came to the United States by way of Canada in the 1960s. Kapp became the coach of the Dallas Tornado Soccer Club during their world tour season from 1967-1968. Kapp is also known for intriducing european style kicking techniques to the National Football League. His approach to kicking has been a mainstay in football for decades.

Abstract
