This collection contains materials concerning Edna Gardner Whyte's career as a pilot. The bulk of the collection is made up of clippings of articles about Whyte from the 1970s and 1980s. Also included are an earlier clipping from 1966, a program from an Air Race in 1980, an invitation from the Ninety-Nines to an "Edna Gardner Whyte Day" in 1976, a certificate from the Aviation Pioneers-Illinois Wing, and a one page typed biography of Whyte written circa 1970s.
