The Rodd Gray Papers documents the life and work of Rodd Gray, his work at Home for the Holidays Texas, Inc., his charity work and volunteerism in the Dallas Fort Worth area. It also documents his alter-ego, former Miss Gay America Patti Le Plae Safe. The Rodd Gray Papers contains documents, Razzle Dazzle Dallas, Inc. documents, the newsletter "Aids Update" and "Excellence", the official newsletter for the Miss Gay America Pageant System, Miss Gay America programs, brochures, a banner, pins, a t-shirt, letters to Rodd Gray, handwritten letters from Rodd Gray, handwritten letters from his alter-ego Patti Le Plae Safe, and headshots of Rodd Gray as “Patti Le Plae Safe”.
