Scope and Contents
Film describing the history of industry in New Bedford, Mass., focusing on the decline of the textile industry. The film presents the planning, implementation, and results of New Bedford's initiatives to foster economic development and create new jobs. Presented by the US Department of Commerce and the Area Redevelopment Administration. (28 min) The collection contains three copies of this film: two copies are on 16mm; one copy is on 35mm.
