Dennis Wakeling Collection
The collection consists of six boxes, which primarily contain Wakeling's translations of libretti in multiple languages, most often written in music scores or copies of them. Also present are materials from collaboration with other scholars and artists, stage sketches, and ephemera.
Adam Makowicz Collection
The collection consists of 18 boxes of correspondence, photos, promotional materials, and sound recordings from the career of Adam Makowicz, spanning the early 1970s through 2009.
David Earl Holt Collection
The collection consists of six boxes of original compositions, arrangements, correspondence, photographs from Holt's career as a trombonist, and assorted sound recordings and media files.

Don and Barbara Gillis Collection
Larry Walz Recordings
The collection consists of one box of reel-to-reel tape recordings donated by pianist and former faculty member of the College of Music, Larry Walz. Most recordings are of Walz' own performances, but also include students and other performers.
Hedley Cooper Collection
This small collection contains autograph manuscripts of short compositions, as well as photocopies, and clippings from the life and career of Hedley Cooper.
Christopher Small Collection
The collection consists of one box containing 17 spiral-bound books of photocopies of handwritten notes by Christopher Small; gaps in the numbering of the books indicate that some volumes may be missing. Also present are a paper inventory of the collection, and a 3.5" floppy disk which has so far been unreadable. The notebooks are undated, but consist of Small's commentaries on publications about music and culture published between 1930 and 1985.
Eugene Conley Recordings
The collection consists of ten boxes, eight of which contain recordings in various formats and include performances by Conley, the Metropolitan Opera, and Conley's students and colleagues. Also included are a small collection of sheet music and a folder of photographs.
Chris Xeros Recordings
The collection consists of two boxes of cassette recordings of the Richardson (TX) Symphony Orchestra, the Allen (TX) Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, and other projects with which Xeros was involved.
John K. Neill Collection
The collection consists of five boxes, which primarily contain various arrangements by John Neill. Also present are a small amount of set lists, performance programs, and promotional materials. The music consists primarily of "American songbook" tunes and some selections of sacred music.
Phil Trumbly - Sally Hoffecker Recordings
The collection consists of one box of cassette tapes, including recordings of lectures at music education meetings.

The collection consists of one box of company records and memorabilia from Ben A. Brown, proprietor of the Music Exchange sheet music store in New York City, on the tenth floor of the Professional Music Building at 141 West 46th Street.

Julia Smith Collection (Music)
The collection consists of approximately 67 boxes of music books, scores, correspondence, memorabilia, manuscripts, photographs, and recordings relating to the career of composer and University of North Texas alumna, Julia Smith (1905-1989), as well as Smith's handwritten transcriptions of more than a dozen scores by Aaron Copland.
Cecil Adkins and Alis Dickinson Collection
The collection consists of 16 boxes of materials from the life and careers of Dr. Cecil Adkins (1932-2015) and Dr. Alis Dickinson (1936-2019), who were married in 1967 and both served on the faculty of the UNT College of Music.
