Scope and Contents

The Multicultural Center records were originally housed in three ring binders as scrapbooks that recorded the activities and events that promoted diversity and inclusiveness on the University of North Texas campus. The scrapbooks' papers are arranged by Multicultural Center, Women's Center, and Equity and Diversity Conference, Student Ethnic Enrichment Center, Center for Cultural Diversity, Black History, American Indian Heritage Month, Mexican American Student Organization, Latino History, Hispanic Heritage Month, clippings, slides, and oversize materials. The papers are arranged by date within the topic areas.
